Q. SHOULD I REPAIR OR REPLACE MY HOME APPLIANCE?

A. With a broken appliance inside of your home there are only two possible choices. One option is to call an appliance repair and try to save money. If that works, you will be able to continue using your oven, freezer, refrigerator or washer and dryer. The second route is to buy a newer unit.

All home appliances come with an estimated lifetime. If it’s a broken appliance in the beginning or middle part of that average lifetime, we suggest using Hall Appliance Repair. When the appliance is near the end of its expected lifetime, we suggest replacing it with a new unit when your budget allows.

Here are the expected lifetimes of each model of appliances:

Q. CAN YOU FIX MY APPLIANCE ON THE INITIAL SERVICE?

A. Yes! It’s always our goal to finish the repair within the initial appointment. Across the years we have been serving customers, we estimate we are successful in fixing things with only one visit close to 90% of the time. We load most of the standard manufacturer appliance parts in our vans in addition to necessary tools to complete the work. If we need to reschedule to finish the work, there will not be any return charge.

Q. WHAT IS THE TIMEFRAME FOR A SERVICE CALL?

A. When you schedule a visit from Hall Appliance Repair, we will offer a one to three hour window for when our repairman will be at your house. And, our repairmen will give you a call 10 to 15 minutes ahead of their arrival. We know how important our customer’s time is. Because of that, we do our utmost to be punctual. Because some services take much longer than anticipated, we give our repairmen a little cushion to finish a previous job and not be late for the following job.
